Willow Park Housing Trust has officially signed up to the Respect Standard.
In doing so, Willow Park Housing Trust is making a public statement to residents and other interested parties, that we are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour on our estates and to help create a culture of respect.
Launched last year, the Government's 'Respect Action Plan' was followed by the 'Respect Standard for Housing Management'. This gave more details of what is expected from housing associations, like Willow Park Housing Trust, to tackle anti-social behaviour and includes a commitment to:-
- Tackling anti-social behaviour and creating a culture of respect.
- Empowering and reassuring residents
- Prevention and early intervention
- Tailored services for residents and provision of support for victims and witnesses
- Protecting communities through swift enforcement
- Support to tackle the causes of anti-social behavior
