Accessible for all
We want to ensure that our services are fair and accessible for all our customers. We provide information in a range of alternative formats such as Braille, audio tape, large print and we can also provide signers where needed. For customers with reduced or no hearing, we have a hearing loop in our office reception and in our interview rooms.
English second language?
For our customers whose first language is not English, we are able to translate any written material into most other languages and our website can be viewed in different languages and text sizes. We can also provide telephone or face to face interpreters when required. We also use plain language in all our publications.
The Browsealoud service reads web pages aloud to help people who find it difficult to read on line such as those with dyslexia or learning difficulties, those for whom English is not their first language, or anyone with a mild visual impairment. We are also happy to fill in forms and read out written information.
