Important dates for your diary from the Involvement Team for September 2010

On 2nd August, Willow Park held a Financial Inclusion Strategy meeting with the Tenant Auditors. Financial inclusion is a term used to describe how to deliver financial services to people at an affordable cost.

The Hollyhedge hoedown took place in Hollyhedge Park yesterday. The hoedown was a Wythenshawe Youth Arts Network event supported by Manchester City Council. It was a great success in spite of the weather.

Residents recently took advantage of the opportunity to have a clearout thanks to some joint clean-up events between the Willow Park Neighbourhoods team,Manchester City Council and Enterprise.

Judging has now taken place for this summer’s Garden Competition. Thank you to everyone that took part and commiserations to those who were not awarded a prize. Many congratulations to the winners.
