Willow Park Housing Trust has been crowned the most enterprising place in the Northwest, beating stiff competition from across the region in the nation’s Enterprising Britain competition.

Helping our young readers

Willow Park staff have recently got to know over 60 pupils at Peel Hall Primary school as part of a volunteer programme to help with reading. The programme has been very well received and made a significant impact, in particular it has contributed to an increase in reading ages for many pupils.

Willow Park staff trained to spot loan sharks

Staff from Willow Park and Parkway Green’s Housing Teams have taken part in training sessions in how to spot loan sharks, run by North West Trading Standards illegal money lending team.

Wythenshawe’s Got Talent 2010 officially launched

This year’s Wythenshawe's Got Talent was officially launched in the town centre on Saturday. Over 300 applications were handed out and nearly 50 people have signed-up already to take part in the variety show.

Improvements to our Repairs Service

We recently carried out a review of our responsive repairs service. The main changes are planned to start from April 2011.

New homes completed and more on the way!

All Willow Park homes have now reached the Decent Homes Standard. The improvements made have been achieved 12 months ahead of schedule and have exceeded the Government’s requirements.

Willow Park Housing Trust has just announced the start of a new housing development in the Painswick area of Woodhouse Park in Wythenshawe. The site, to be built in two phases, will include 50 homes for rent and 38 homes for shared ownership.
