The trust has a wide range of different type of properties to let. Here is a snapshot of the homes provided by Willow Park Housing Trust.
Home Types
- Houses
A home on two floors with its own front door at ground level. It can be part of a terrace, semi-detached or detached. They have their own garden or a private paved area. Most have two or three bedrooms some have four.
- Bungalows
A home on one floor with its own front door at ground level. They usually have one or two bedrooms. Some have their own garden, others share with neighbouring homes.
- Cottage flats
A building of two storeys, with one flat on each floor. It usually looks like a house from the outside. They have either one or two bedrooms.
- Walk-up flats
Usually between two and four storeys – or an individual flat above a shop or maisonette. Most have one or two bedrooms some have three.
- Multi-storey flats
A block of between six and 15 storeys high, with several flats on each floor. Usually one or two bedrooms. There is a communal entrance on the ground floor, staircases and a lift.
- Sheltered housing flats
One-bedroom flats in blocks reserved for older people. There are communal facilities and help at hand from trained staff.
- Maisonettes
A home with two floors in a small block. The block usually has two homes, one on top of the other. Some maisonettes are above shops, or in a block with a one-storey flat. Most have two or three bedrooms.
